International Buyer Visits in Phnom Penh (Cambodia)
Through the facilitation of Helvetas and CPSF, Mr. Lutz Toennis and Mr. Mirko Sprecher, two representatives of Cha Do Teehandels GMBH, arrived in Phnom Penh on October 6th 2023. The purpose of their two-day business visit in Cambodia was to meet with potential suppliers in person. Accompanied by CPSF Executive Director, Mr. Vannal Van, Lutz and Mirko visited Confirel and Khmer Organic Cooperative and took part in exploratory meetings at both companies with Ms. Sovann Pisey Thlang, CEO of Khmer Organic Cooperative and Mr. Sophaseila Sakett, Delegate Director at Confirel. CPSF is pleased to see the increasing visibility of Cambodian produce in the global markets and is looking forward to seeing this relationship develop further.
